Maintaining olive trees is straightforward. Olive trees should be pruned before and after the winter frosts.

Olive trees will survive in their pots or containers if you top dress the pot with fresh soil every year. We recommend John Innes No 3.

Feeding your olive tree

Feed your Braided double twisted olive tree a fast release liquid seaweed from April to September. If keeping in a pot soak once or twice a week through the growing season which is April to October. If your tree is dropping leaves it’s because it’s under watered. However no need to water from late October to early March.
