Caring for your Courtyard Olive tree

Courtyard Olive tree is hardy to -15C and evergreen. Due to their small leaf span they are also wind resistant.

Maintaining olive trees is straightforward. Olive trees should be pruned before and after the winter frosts. This is also essential to create a fruiting environment as Olives like many fruit trees only flower and fruit on last years pruning cuts.

Olive trees will survive in their pots or containers if you top dress the pot with fresh soil every year. We recommend John Innes No 3.

Feed your Olive Tree liquid seaweed from April to September. If you are keeping your tree in a pot soak regularly throughout Spring/Summer/Autumn.

You can plant out Olive trees, they make an excellent feature in your garden design.
