How do you look after an indoor olive tree?

Indoor olive trees can thrive 

They can but just be careful to check how big your olive tree will grow. You’ll not want a skyscraper in the living room – as believe it or not some can grow up to 10ft tall! One of the most important aspects of keeping an olive tree as a houseplant is the location. It’s best to keep indoor olive trees near as much natural light and sun rays as possible. If you leave it in a dark corner, sadly it might just wither away. However, it’s worth noting not to keep the plant too near the glass as sun rays can intensify and burn the leaves in summer.

Low maintenance but not no maintenance!

It’s true, the indoor olive tree is very low maintenance surviving extreme cold and heat, but that doesn’t mean you never water them. So, if the soil feels dry a few inches down then it’s time to get watering. IN the cooler months olive trees don’t grow as much so it’s easy to overwater, that’s why the finger test is best!
