Italian Terracotta urn

Our Impruneta terracotta pots and statues are the ‘creme de la creme’ in the world of terracotta! Impruneta terracotta has a distinctive burnt orange colour. Our terracotta pots are produced using methods developed in Renaissance Italy. The same techniques remain in use today. Impruneta has been producing terracotta for hundreds of years and still has kilns dating back to 1098.

Add some ‘Italian garden magic’ to your garden. Time is the medium in which a garden grows. These terracotta pots and statues will age with elegance and are both salt and frost resistant and will last a lifetime.

Our terracotta pots are produced with the valuable clay from Impruneta, are guaranteed to be resistant to atmospheric agents and frost up to more than -30 degrees centigrade.

In order to obtain the maximum life out of our terracotta pots, here are some simple recommendations for use in cold weathers.

Caring for your Italian Terracotta pot

1/In your Italian terracotta pot containing soil, ensure that drain holes are always clear and unobstructed by roots, ground or anything else.

2/For any pot used as flower stand, ensure that water does not become stagnant and in such case empty it.

3/ Do not leave the Italian terracotta pot immersed in water, but lift it, also with terracotta spacers.

4/Ensure that the terracotta pots do not remain for long time in direct contact or immersed, even if partially, in the snow. In case of snowfalls, clear the snow off the perimeter of the product in order to avoid possible damages due to the continuous contact with snow and frost.

5/Use caution when moving frozen objects, since the bottom or any side of the pots could be attached to the ground. Do not use boiling water, salt or similar products on pots to melt frost or snow.
